At The Injection Room, a lip flip consists of 4 units of neurotoxin (Botox) above your top lip, occassionally below the bottom lip as well. This treatment will not add any extra volume to the lips. It is targeted to relax the muscle to allow your natural fullness to ‘flip’ out. Results are mostly seen whenever you smile, some patients see results when their lips are at a resting state as well. Depending on how your body metabolizes the product, results will last up to 3-6 months. Most of our regular patients get both lip filler and a lip flip during their appointment with us. If you are looking to make your lips any bigger than they currently are, we recommend going with lip filler or both treatments.
